Uncharted Waters is a historic nautical game developed by Tecmo Koei. Ever since 1991’s original Uncharted Waters game, the series has been well-loved by a wide range of players. Known for its rich historical plots and detailed setting, players will live, work and play the past, rewriting the 15th century to make their own history. Players may choose from among 6 nationalities: England, Dutch Republic, Ancient Régime in France, Spanish Empire, Kingdom of Portugal, and Republic of Venice. After selecting a basic class (adventurer, merchant or soldier), players will then choose from several different occupations.
This website was born as a collection of several guides that I found spread in many websites while I began to play. From the menu to the left, you can read some information about the UWO's world (playing countries, cities, harbors, landing points), everything related to characters and NPCs (jobs, skills, aides, titles...), discoveries (quests, contribution points), dungeons, all the recipes (for cooking, sewing, casting, crafting, storage, shipbuilding), a list of the main items (like ships and equipments) and several guides (about the life on sea and on land, skills, storyline, colonies and more).
On the top left, you can find a shortcut to the main page, the list of all the registered members, a link to the forum, and a simple page showing the market prices for UWO (thought for all the people who come back to play after a while).
Once you register, some other option will appear, like the ChatBox, a private mail and a personal menu. From this menu, you will be able to see and edit your profile, reset your password or sending PMs.
The Forum
This space, including the Forum, was intended for personal usage. However, since I had no more time to play, I quit the game and left my beloved company. Therefore, if some other company is interested in using this space, I'll be glad to provide the access to the members (very newborn/small companies are welcome).
Once registered, a member will be able to edit his profile (with statistics, skills and photo) and will have access to the company's forum, where he could freely post info, guides, pictures, thoughts, requests and everything he/she likes. The public area is instead moderated.
IMPORTANT: Since every day I received more than one hundred requests of registration from bots, and since I didn't want to put a captcha to the registration module to not slowing down the access, I completely removed the button "Register". If you play UWO and you would like to use the Forum, then write a post in the public area or reply to this post. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is necessary to keep spammers out from the Forum, without being forced to make the website heavier and uglier.
